Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pool Cleaning Operator to join our dynamic team. This is a full time job. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and optimal functioning of swimming pools through routine cleaning, inspections, and reporting repairs. Duties
Perform regular cleaning of pool surfaces, filters, skimmers, and surrounding areas using appropriate hand tools and under water equipment
Inspect pool equipment such as pumps, filters, valves, and chlorination systems for proper operation and identify any issues needing repair
Conduct routine water testing to ensure chemical balance and clarity; adjust chemicals as needed for safe swimming conditions
Troubleshoot minor mechanical problems with pool equipment and report all issues to office to be coordinated with technicians for complex issues
Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules, inspections, repairs, and chemical treatments
Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform maintenance tasks efficiently and effectively as needed
Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries during pool maintenance activities
You will be driving a company vehicle so a clean driving record is a must.
Experience:
Prior experience in pool maintenance or service technician roles is highly preferred
Familiarity with pool cleaning techniques, water chemistry testing, and chemical handling procedures
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety guidelines meticulously
Service-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving skills to address maintenance issues promptly
