1. The scanner does turn on, and when you turn on the auto scan mode. It goes through the stations and stops at a local station. However, it just plays a static noise and doesn’t connect. Because, I don’t have an antenna or the equipment needed to connect to the station.
2. Has a few scratches, glue residue and discoloration on the body of scanner.
